With the new year upon us, many people make new year’s resolutions. One of the most common resolutions for Christians, is to read through their Bible in one year. This is a great thing to do and is important for every Christian to be reading their Bible on a daily basis. However, as with most New Year’s resolutions, people start out strong with their commitments but fail to see them through completely.
This year, for 2010, I have challenged the teens to read through the entire New Testament in just 52 days. While this may seem like a lot, it’s really not to bad. It comes out to be about 5 chapters per day.
Each day, I will be posting a brief questionnaire to help you dig deeper into each section and to help you grow more through this challenge. Let me encourage you to print each questionnaire and fill it out as you read through the section for the day. While you can view the questionnaire online, by printing out the questionnaire for each day, you will be creating a summary overview of the entire New Testament with your own personal thoughts and notes. All in just 52 days!
I hope this is a challenge to you and that you are looking forward to this! By starting as a group and having resources to help you along the way, we are increasing the opportunities we have to grow as a group and grow in Christ this year. Make sure you are involved this year!
