This is from Lucas Art’s classic Monkey Island series, Monkey Island 3 – The Curse Of Monkey Island, one of the funniest games I have ever played.

Here’ this week’s video. It’s a “Speed Run” of Super Mario Bros. 3 from a couple of years ago.

So, the story, as far as I can recall, the player in this video was playing on an emulator on a computer and had the game slowed down to like 1/16th of the original speed of the game. This allowed him to almost see things before they happened.

Roughly two weeks ago, the quiet Pete Sudlow residence in Madison Heights, VA, was struck by an attack from the Taco Liberation Army. The TLA, who’s mission of liberating tacos across the Madison Heights region, quickly set to work consuming all tacos in sight. Tortilla shells were piled high with meat, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese and quickly stuffed in to the salivating mouths of the army. Vegetarians we represented amongst the troops as one militant was seen creating a delicious taco creation out of beans and taco mix. So zealous were the troops in their desire to free tacos everywhere that when the eight pounds of meat ran out, they grabbed up the empty shells and loaded them with ice cream and sundae toppings and continued their rampage with out a single missed mouthful. After leaving no tacos, meat, bean, ice cream or otherwise, left in captivity, the TLA cleaned up the mess their activities caused, loaded up their transport units and disappeared just as quickly as they arrived. All Mrs. Kathy Sudlow had to say on the matter was, “It was a pleasure to have them. I’m just glad those poor tacos are free at last! The Taco Liberation Army is welcome at my house any time. God bless them in their wonderful taco-intarian work.”

One brave photographer braved the carnage to obtain the following pictures.

[nggallery id=11]

The future plans of the TLA is best summed up in one soldier’s parting words, “I’m hungry, when’s the next NTLB rally?” When exactly that will be remains uncertain be you can rest assured that where ever small tacos huddle in fear of never being consumed, the Taco Liberation Army will be there to set them free, for as their war cry states, the TLA will not stop “Until All Are Consumed!”

This morning in Sunday School, the Temple Teens instituted the No Taco Left Behind Act, NTBL for short.

In a world where tacos are mistreated, abused, and neglected, the NTLB was established to protect the welfare of innocent tacos everywhere. It is their right to be layered high with cheese and lettuce, it is their right to be consumed while leaving your hand dripping with the delicious juice of the taco’s goodness. It is, then, our duty to see that no taco’s potential goes unfulfilled, no tortilla shell left empty, no stomach left unsatisfied.
To begin this initiative, we will be going to the Sudlow’s house after the evening service until 8:30pm to consume large quantities of tacos, fellowship, and play games. If you, as a teenager, or your parents would like to join us, simply meet at church this evening at 6:00pm for Temple’s evening service.

Join us and help a taco near you reach it’s full potential.

Until All Have Been Consumed,
President of the No Taco Left Behind Movement

(No Taco Left Behind is not actually an act or movement – I just thought it would be a funny name and a good way to get our
teens excited about our activity.)

(No tacos were harmed in the making of this post.)
