Every year, we have our Teen Christmas Banquet.  This is a great time to enjoy some great food, wonderful fellowship, and amazing Christmas Carols.  This year, our banquet will be on Saturday, December 4th from 6:00pm-8:30pm.  The cost will be $10.00.  I do ask everyone to dress nicely, like you would for a Sunday Morning church service.  We will also be having a “White Elephant” gift exchange.  If you would like to participate, please bring a wrapped gift of $5.00 or less.

On Tuesday, December 7th, the Teens will be making their annual Christmas Caroling trip.  We will be visiting the front doors of various members of Temple Baptist Church from 6:00pm-8:30pm.  There is No Cost involved for this but make sure you bring your Christmas cheer, after all Christ is the Hope of the Season!

As many of you know, this past August, we had someone break into our Teen Building, here at church, and steal a TV and audio equipment.  To help replace what was stolen, we are going to have a BreakIn to raise some funds.

A BreakIn is one of the most popular activity that we have for the Temple Teens.  It is a great time to enjoy Christian fellowship while running around a dark building while searching for the hidden flashlight.  Make sure you invite your unsaved friends so we can reach out to the during the night.

Our ‘Ool ‘Arty @ The Thompson’s will be tomorrow!  We will leave church @ 1:30 and arrive back @ 7:30.  See below for more details.

Due to the weather, we are postponing our ‘Ool ‘Arty @ the Thompson’s until either Thursday or Friday of Next Week.  More details on Wednesday Night.

Our ‘Ool ‘Arty @ The Thompson’s has been moved to Tuesday, July 13th Thursday or Friday of next week.  We will meet at church at 1:30pm and arrive back at 7:30pm.  Make sure you bring all your swim gear – bathing suit, towel, suntan lotion, etc.  We will have some hot dogs & hamburgers & snacks.  This is be a great time to relax and enjoy the wonderful summer God has blessed us with!  Don’t miss it!

In a world where tacos are mistreated, abused, and neglected, the NTLB was established to protect the welfare of innocent tacos everywhere. It is their right to be layered high with cheese and lettuce, it is their right to be consumed while leaving your hand dripping with the delicious juice of the taco’s goodness. It is, then, our duty to see that no taco’s potential goes unfulfilled, no tortilla shell left empty, no stomach left unsatisfied.
To begin this initiative, we will be going to the Sudlow’s house after the evening service until 8:30pm to consume large quantities of tacos, fellowship, and play games. If you, as a teenager, or your parents would like to join us, simply meet at church this evening at 6:00pm for Temple’s evening service.

Our activity this year is going to be a little different than in year’s past – Instead of having a late night activity, we are going to have a mid-day activity!

We are going to be leaving church @ 10:00am to head down to Roanoke to Pump-It-Up!  We will spend an hour and a half playing all kinds of crazy games on the giant inflatables!  From there, we will head to lunch in Roanoke at Red Robin!  We will be back to church around 3:00pm.  The cost for this will be $15.00.

I need everyone to make sure they have their parent’s sign the waiver for Pump-It-Up.  You can either download it here or visit Pump-It-Up’s site to print it from there and make sure you bring it with you!
