Chapter 17:
What does Jesus teach about faith? What are the examples that He uses to illustrate His teaching? How can we grow in our faith? How can we apply this lesson to our lives?
Chapter 18:
What does the parable of the widow teach us about prayer? Why do we need to be consistent in our prayers? Is it easy to be discouraged? Why? What example from your life can you give about being persistent, both in prayer and other areas of your life?
Chapter 19:
Jesus tells the parable of the minas or wages in this chapter. A mina was about 3 months wages. Is this a lot of money? Where was the noble man going? What did he leave to his servants while he was gone? How did each of them treat the minas that were given him? What does this parable teach us? How can this be applied to your life?
Chapter 20:
Did the Sadducees believe in a resurrection? What did they ask Jesus? Put their question into your own words. How did He answer them? What does this mean about what life will be like in heaven? How did the scrives answer Jesus? Why didn’t they ask Him any more questions?
Chapter 21:
What are some of the signs that Jesus said will occur at the end of the age? What does He say about watching for these events? Are you watching for them today? How?
