Congratulations!  You are over a quarter of the way through the New Testament!  Today, you will finish your third book and be 3/4 of the way through the Gospels!  All in just TWO WEEKS!  Take just a moment to look back at the past two weeks.  How has your walk with Christ grow better as you have spent time with Him, daily?

Chapter 22:

What are the circumstances of Peter’s denieing Jesus?  Why did he deny Him?  Did he know he was going to deny Jesus?  How?  What was Peter’s response when Jesus looked at him and he remembered Jesus’ words?  How are we often like Peter?  What can we do to change this?

Chapter 23:

What did the sign on the cross say?  Was it accurate?  What did the Jews do with their King?  How are we like the Jews in our treatment of the King?
What did the two criminals say to Jesus?  Which one had the repentant heart?  What happened to him?  Why?

Chapter 24:

In your own words, describe the account of the two followers of Jesus as they left Jerusalem to go to Emmaus.  What were they talking about amounst themselves?  When did Jesus reveal Himself to them?
In verse 27, Luke says that Jesus began at Moses and the prophets and told them all that concerned Himself.  What does this say about the importance of the Old Testament?  Can a person be led to a saving knowledge of Christ from the Old Testament?  Do you know enough about the Old Testament to be able to do that?  What are you going to do about that?

John

Chapter 1:

Who is the Word?  Is John the Baptist the Word?  How do you know that?  What happened to the Word?  What is the significance of that?
What does John declare when he first saw Jesus?  What is the importance of this declaration?  What does this mean for us today?

Chapter 2:

Describe the circumstances of the wedding feast that Jesus and His disciple attended.  What happened to the wine that was provided?  What did Jesus do about this?  What does this say about His power and authority?  How does this apply to your life?
