Today’s Chapters: Acts 12-16

Chapter 12:

Why did Herod harass and kill church members?  Who did he kill first?  Who did he then seek to kill?  How did he escape?  What was the church doing while Peter was in prison?
What happened to Herod?  Why is the last verse of the chapter important?

Chapter 13:

How does the first section of this chapter tie in with the last verse of the previous chapter?  Where did they go?  What happened there?

Chapter 14:

What happened to Paul at Lystra?  Who did this?  Why?  How did they leave him?  What happened in the end?

Chapter 15:

What was the problem that was discussed in this chapter?  What was the final descision made about it?
Verses 36-41 cover an interesting event.  What event is it?  What was the outcome?  Was this good or bad?  Why?

Chapter 16:

Who did Paul and Silas meet in Derbe?  Why was this an important meeting?
Where and how was Paul called?  Why is the geographically important?  Why is this important to us today as members of the western hemisphere?
