Why should we rejoice that we are able to suffer like Christ?
Chapter 5:
Why do we need to submit to our elders? What does it mean to be submissive?
Why do we need to be vigilant? How does Peter describe our Satan?
What other encouragement does Peter give us in this chapter? How can you apply it to your life?
II Peter
Chapter 1:
Who wrote this book? To whom was it written?
What do we need to add to our faith? What is the importance of this list? How will these things change our lives? Will they change our lives for better or for worse?
Chapter 2:
What three examples does Peter give us of God’s judgment on sin? In light of these examples, how is verse 9 an encouragement to us? Why should this motivate us to witness to the lost?
Chapter 3:
Why is it an encouragement that the Lord does not fail in what He promises? What does this mean for coming judgment?
How does Peter describe the day of the Lord? What does he say about the “stuff” that we desire so much in this life? What will happen to it in the end? How does this change your view of these things?
