Congratulations!
You are have completed another book and are halfway through the Gospels!

Chapter 13:

What does Jesus tell us to take heed about?  What does it mean to heed something or to take heed?  What will be the state of the world when we need to take heed of this?  What will happen to Christians during this time?  In verse 9 & 13, what does He say will be the cause of the persecution of Christians?  Why is this important?  How is this an encouragement for Christians facing persecution?
What are some of the other key points that Jesus talks about concerning the end times?

Chapter 14:

How did they chief priests and the scribes plan on taking Jesus?  Why could they not accuse Him like anyone else?  What was different about Jesus?  Why did they not want to take Him during the feast?  Who were they more concerned about; God or the people?
How did Jesus prepare for the Passover feast?  What does this say about what Jesus knows?  Why is this encouraging to you, especially as you prepare to face the persecution Jesus talked about in the previous chapter?
How did Judas identify Jesus?  What happened after this?  How did Jesus respond?  Why did He respond like this?

Chapter 15:

When Pilate tried Jesus, what did he ask Jesus?  How did Jesus respond?  What is significant about this statement?
What was the custom for Pilate to do at the feast of Passover?  What choice did he give the people?  What does verse 10 say he knew was happening?  Which one did the people choose?  What did the chief priests do to cause this?  How did the crowd respond when Pilate asked about Jesus?  What does Pilate then ask them?  What does this show about Jesus’ guilt?

Chapter 16:

Why did the ladies go to the tomb?  What did the ladies see when they looked in the tomb?  What were they expecting to find?  Do you think they were surprised not to find this?  Why?  Should they have been surprised?  Why not? (Take a look at what they angel told the ladies)
How does Mark end the book?  Is this still going on today?  Where is Jesus now?  Why is this encouraging?

Luke

Chapter 1:

Luke begins his account of the life of Jesus by writing a brief explanation of why his is writting this book.  What does he say?  To whom is he writing?
Luke gives us more background into the birth and life of John the Baptist.  In your own words, summarize the circumstances of John’s birth.  Why are these so amazing?  Who told Zacharias what was going to happen?  Where was Zacharias when he was told this?
Where do we next see this messenger?  Who is he talking to this time?  What does he tell her?  Why is this suprising and amazing?  Where does she go after hearing this?  What happened to Elizabeth when they met?
Mary then gives us a great account of what it means to glorify God in verses 46-55.  What are some words or phrases that stand out to you?  What is important about these?
How did Zacharias get his voice back?  Once he has his voice back, what does he do in verses 67-79?  What are some words or phrases that stand out to you in this section?  Why?
