SRC: The Psalms – Day 3

Today’s Chapters: Psalms 11-15

Psalm 11:3

This verse reminds us how important our foundations are.  If you do not stand on the rock of Christ, your life will fall into ruin.  But when we have a solid foundation, nothing can stand against us.

Psalm 12:6

It is encouraging to know the the words that the Lord speaks are pure.  You will never find anything that is unrighteous in His speech.

Psalm 13:6

We need to make sure that we follow David’s example of singing our praise to the Lord.  Being reminded of all He has done for us and seeing His goodness extended to us for another day, our natural response should be to sing our joy.

Psalm 14:1

The greatest mark of a fool is that they say there is no God.  Instead of believing in God, they try to set themselves up in God’s place, saying they don’t need God because they are sufficient in themselves.

Psalm 15

This psalm covers the characteristics of someone who lives with God.  How does your life match up with this list?  Our desire should be to always live in the presence of God in His holy hill.
