Today’s Chapters: Psalms 146-150
Pete’s Thoughts:
Psalm 146:3
It is wonderful that we do not have to put our trust in anyone besides God. Everyone else will fail us, God will never fail. He is faithful despite what we do.
Psalm 147:1
We serve a good God. Many religions belive that the god they serve lies and cheats to make people trust them. Our God is completely, 100% good with no evil or sin in Him.
Psalm 148
This is a fantastic psalm of praise to God from all of creation. Look at the many ways that everything around us praise Him. Isn’t it about time that we praise God with the way we live our lives and join in with the rest of creation?
Psalm 149:4
Look at how the humble are lifted up and made beautiful with salvation. Do you realize that God takes pleasure in us as His children? He has made us beautiful. It is nothing we have done for ourselves, it is through the amazement of His salvation.
Psalm 150
Praise to God. This is a perfect way to end the book of Psalms. We need to make sure that we take everything we have learned from reading through this book and use it to give God praise from every area of lives. Praise the Lord!
