I hope that everyone has a fantastic Thanksgiving! Enjoy stuffing your face with turkey, mashed potatoes & gravy, corn, sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie & ice cream, and stuffing!
One of my favorite Thanksgiving Day traditions is, as we are gathered around the dinner table with our bellies full and plates empty, everyone talks about what they are thankful for and why. It is important to stop and look back on the year and be amazed again at how God blessed you. As the Psalmist reminds us to “Be still and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)
Make sure you take some time this Thanksgiving to stop and be reminded of who God is and all that He has done for you.
Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted
among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! ~ Psalm 46:10
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. ~ Psalm 100:4
